So I sold my little rocket after a rather long decision about its fuel consumption and my job which is now requiring me to drive a lot. I went to KIA earlier and have part exed my Twingo for a new RIO 3 which I will be getting in about 10 days.
The mpg on the Rio was just to good and its a nice...
It's gone through my paypal account but I didn't have balance so it's come out of my bank account. I had several payments to sony europe and 1 to some guy called daniel ellingham... I hope this gets sorted as it's a lot of money!
Ebay were hacked recently apparently and paypal too I believe. Just logged on to find over £500 taken from my account today. I would change your passwords if you use these services!
So I was parked with 2 of my left wheels on a curb earlier which I got up by driving up a dropped section. When I came back however there was cars blocking the dropped sections of curb and I had to drive straight off, which is when I heard the most horrific metalic scrape and a thud. I couldn't...
Mine does the exact same noise as in Biscoo' video and when I took it to be checked I was told that it is a normal noise from the power steering column :s
Not sure if this was the actual reason but I cleaned my air filter and now its much better to drive and the MPG has crept back up to over 30 and still going. my air filter was filthy though, like covered in some black oil like substance which I cleaned using the BMC cleaning kit and oil. All...
Well I've had my service and whilst the car now seems to drive better and rev a little more freely, it also seems to be using MORE petrol. I'm down to around 26 MPG and it's not like i'm driving hard as I shift up at around 2.5k RPM... Could it be the air filter being dirty? haven't had a look...
So what should my tyre pressure be for the tyre size 205/40/17? I have it about the same as 195/40/17 atm but I assume it should be slightly different.
Sorry if this has been asked already, I don't get on with the search function...
Yes its my first service and yes its running the same oil as I was told not to change it before the first service because they put some special stuff in it?
I'm down to 28 mpg now and I'm driving as careful as possible... Starting to think there's a hole in my tank haha every time I turn the car...
So the last thousand miles or so my MPG has been dropping. I had around 35-36 MPG on average but it has been slowly dropping to my current MPG of 29.4.
What could be causing this? My tyre pressures are the same and my driving style has not changed though I am only 200 miles away from my 12500...
I picked up 4 of these in 205/17/40. Have done about 1k miles on them so far and they seem pretty decent in the dry but they seem to let go easily in the wet.
