It’s been running fine since I put the new clutch in! Almost a year now without any issues (touch wood) haha! It’s really good to drive and surprises a lot of things on the road, given it’s weight/power ratio. Puts a big smile on your face every time you floor it!
So haven’t posted much on here as of late as really not much has changed with the car. But on Thursday just gone I went back to EFI Parts just to get the car checked over (map wise) and a little tweak.
Car is now running 288bhp and 301 ft/lbs
Car was faultless on the 8 hour round trip and...
Doesn’t really have a changeable one. But it does have a little filter in the bottom of the sender unit if you want to take it apart and clean it. You can see it bottom of the sender unit in the attached picture of mine.
New clutch and slave cylinder fitted Friday night/Saturday morning. Got the box out by itself by dropping subframe. Wasn’t too bad of a job to be fair! Good to go anyway, until the next problem haha
Made the two hour journey to Donington Saturday morning for FCS! Drove really nice and smooth, only problem was the slave cylinder went as I got to the gate!! I have no luck with this car! Spent the day there anyway. Going to try and just drop the subframe and get the box out separately.
Yeah still the same on the twingo really you want the belts to have been done or for the price to reflect if it hasn’t been done yet. Some other service history is always good too. I’ve had two for almost four years and not had many problems with them apart from wheel bearings, pretty solid cars...
Yeah all into the same plug. The plugs are marked you’ll be able to read it so rows and numbers like any other plug really. Earth just joins up with the rest of the loom, you can track it on the picture I’ve added. I’m pretty sure that ones an earth anyway can’t remember without turning on the...
How good are you at reading the ECU plug? The lambda sensor (rear) uses pins M2, A3 and M1 on the second ECU plug (middle) the other cable goes off to an earthing point on a different plug. Use a multimeter with the noise setting on to check for any breaks. Hope this helps, if not pop me your...
Don’t know if you fixed it by now or not but pull a 5amp fuse out in the fusebox in the glovebox. Will reset the immobiliser and should b able to start. Search on here and you’ll find a picture of it
Also a set of H&R lowering springs turned up
Completely forgot to mention the engine is back in and running now too. Gone on a couple test drives now but just need to run the engine in before I start boosting of course.
The challenge to make FCS continues!!
