A bit of help/advice required before buying please

Just for the record, only issue i have had was a track rod end and a broken spring (which I am blaming on hitting one too many huge potholes where I live) on 54k now. As for the cam belt, so long as you aren't too bothered about original parts, I bought myself an entire service kit for about 150...

Different width tyres front and back

So long as you change them in pairs across the same axle it should be okay. The worst thing that my local garage said could happen is that it could mess a bit with your traction control. No idea how true that is though. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

    [New join] Rain Guard

For replacement parts I look at eurocarparts. I am not sure about shipping internationally though!

A bit of help/advice required before buying please

Hi, Not going to lie, the twingo is really quite underpowered, but like you said it is still pretty nippy. The way I look at it is to look at cars that are more or less the equivalent power, which is the 2 litre turbo diesels. It is more than capable and bags of fun. If I had a choice now...

    Hi all looking for help/advice

All you have to do is turn the ignition on and flick the lights on and off on the stalk a few times, it will beep and hey presto!

    Twingo depreciation temporary?

I think the depreciation is quite steep on them because they are not so well known or mainstream... also, when you look at other cars that people would think are similar, they tend to go for them (like Ford or Audi). It even goes through the rest of the Renault range, you can get a 172/182 for...

    Cup springs

Have had all my springs replaced with H&R ones as one snapped (to get through MOT). Have 3 springs going wanting if anyone wants them. They are the cup pack ones, back ones look to have a fair amount of life left in them, front one is looking a bit scabby, but still good to go I would imagine...

    Engine mods!!

If I'm being honest I'm not sure what is knocking about out there for that engine, if I remember rightly, kam racing have parts for the 1.2. Best bet is to get online and search! As for exhausts, you can buy an expensive one or ask around garages see if you can have one made up for cheaper! In...

    Engine mods!!

Dubz is right, most people on here start on handling and suspension first because it adds extra fun for fairly cheap in comparison to engine mods. For power sakes, generally in a non turbo twingo, people go for induction kit, exhaust and a remap. Above that, it starts getting expensive for not...

    Tyre Profile & Gearing

If you think they fail to protect the wheel, try the factory 195 size ones! Beyond belief...

    Aux belt bearing failure

Surely somewhere like Euro car parts would have it?

    Tyre Profile & Gearing

Not sure about the wind, but I know quite a few twingo guys put 205's on for a bit more alloy protection without any issues at all... not sure that would be a big enough difference that you're looking for though
