Just need some help with my oil temp gauge I fitted the gauge a couple of months ago, and was going to finish it off with the sandwich plate when i came to do the service. i did the service and found that the sandwich plate was to thick which means the plate and the oil filter wont go between...

its been really raining where i live and was coming on to a round about and the car span all over the place, luckily i didn't hit no one apart from the barrier so thats the good thing really, but the more annoying thing is i was driving at normal speed so it was all the weathers fort, my mates...

i have fitted a oil temp gauge to my GT, but when i tried to fit the sandwich plate, when doing my first service the plate and the filter just wont fit together, so im still trying to find something that will work, so if anyone can help me out that would be great
