My battery is dead, how do I get into the car to be able to open the bonnet to charge the battery?

Turns out RHD twingo doesn't have a keyhole in the driver door. That's hilarious 😁 I guess Renault couldn't be bothered to flip it in order to save money.

There should be a keyhole in the driver door. If not you can try lowering the window using your hands or pull the doors top right corner a bit and use a wire to pull the handle

    Help Please

Hello. You need to connect diag tool and read fault codes. Without that it's firing parts cannon, which will get expensive fast. You may try and disconnect the battery for a few minutes, maybe you'll be lucky

HOW TO: Retro fit Cruise control

I think I know what's going on here. Renault used airbag tape from another model with more equipment, like airbag/horn/criuse control, 2-stage airbag/horn or 2-stage airbag/cruise control. They just cut unnecessary wiring/connector that normally is on the steering wheel side. I'll do some...

HOW TO: Retro fit Cruise control

Can you give me part numbers? This looks like Twingo III clock spring. Especially the bottom one with 6 pins. The only way it would make sense to me right now is if it was Twingo III clock spring without phone/voice commands

HOW TO: Retro fit Cruise control

Horn stays original. Theres not enough wires in Twingo II clock spring to connect anything besides airbag cruise control buttons and airbag. Don't get me wrong, it's possible to connect everything, but that would require some custom hardware (arduino based would be the cheapest I think). I'm not...

HOW TO: Retro fit Cruise control

@Projectrs200 You connect black and red wire to the clock spring. The other two wires are for answering the phone. There's nothing we can do about it as it's on a separate circuit. Works like a normal switch. As you said there just isn't enough wires to connect everything.

HOW TO: Retro fit Cruise control

In that case just run 3FX wire from ECU to ground

HOW TO: Retro fit Cruise control

Check if you have pins present at the ECU. I had them but was missing wiring inside the car. If you have wiring at ECU side you can run wires to the big white connector under fuse box. You need to disassemble the socket (not the plug, that goes to the ECU) and pull out the green part. Green and...

HOW TO: Retro fit Cruise control

I wanted to replace the steering wheel because mine was worn out and it was an ugly plastic one. I found out that leather steering wheels in good condition are quite pricy so I decided to try and fit the steering wheel from Twingo III. I didn't find any information if it fits or not so I decided...
