RUK said replace the diff & reverse synchro as in there eyes that was cheaper. I'd have liked a new box . I've had gearboxes rebuilt in the past & never had a problem .. But the dealer monkeys just replace parts . Not real mechanics in my eyes..

No renault were unsure if the fix would work. & I can tell them it didn't .. Hope I get a new box this time instead of some half arse attempt at trying to fix it..

Bik.. Mine had a new diff in December . Then they found teeth missing from the reverse sincro so they replaced that as well oh & the slave cylinder that was leaking!!! & it feels exactly the same as it did .. The only smooth'ish Renault box I have had was on the R26 !! & the stealers charged...
