    Dimly lit dashboard warning signs

It is the cluster Ladouras - I had mine stripped down by a proper Renault independent specialist but it cannot be fixed, known issue but never recalled by Renault... :)

    Tyers questions

It had Hankook Ventus S2 (I think) on the front and Conti SportContact 3's on the rear when I bought it. The Rotallas are a massive improvement. What are UHP tyres?

    Tyre Noise

They're all noisy, and not just tyre noise too! Switching the Hankooks mine came with to Rotallas (don't laugh, they're really, really good) made it much better. I'm running 205/40/17 now on my full fat cup. Fine in the cold/wet and great in the warm.

    RS Brake fluid capacity

Go for the ATE 200 (I think). It's fine for road use but has a higher boiling point hence can cope with extended track sessions. OEM brakes on RS are very, very good and can be uprated with Ferodo 2500 or Carbon Lorraine front pads at around £130 for a set.

    Tyers questions

I went from premium 195 40 r17 to a set of budget Rotalla Setula S Pace 205 40 r17. Massive improvement and no issues, running 36 front and 34 rear.

    Timing Kit Availability

That's weird buddy - no issues getting them here in UK. Rentec (Edinburgh) might be able to ship you a kit directly if you call them? 0131 657 1274.

    Grounding point near fuse box

    Ooooh, good info's Dave!

    Grounding point near fuse box

You could drill anywhere into the metalwork, or take a feed from the 10A cigarette lighter maybe - that's where I wired my heated seat in. The fusebox itself is pretty ramjam with very little room for play. If you manage to fabricate a + and - source let me know as I'm keen to wire in a few...

    Hello Everyone! (133 SSGP)

Welcome, lovely car and no miles on the clock - that's a keeper! See if you can get to the French Car Show in Donington this year. I can't unfortunately but I did last year and it was a blast! This forum's great but a lot of the traffic seems to have moved on the the Facebook Renault Twingo...

    New owner

Awesome. The chassis/VIN number will confirm if you have a cup (which I'm sure you do). Also you can look at the springs for a purple dot. Rears are easiest, from the rear. Purple dot = cup suspension. You'll have aircon plus a split rear seat, hence the "full fat" naming. The standard...

    New owner

Nice Twingo, and nice Fairlady/3000/GTO (sorry, my memory is getting old)!. I have a Twingo exactly the same as yours (it's not a Silverstone, they were the ph1 model and only silver). Yours is a ph2 "full fat". Now I need to get that Nissan!!!!! That thing is sooooo awesome. Standby and...

Viewing a twingo 133 this weekend, possibly buying.

Welcome! Look for water ingress around the rightmost plug - take off the coil and see if it's rusty/brown on the outside. If it's bad I'd walk away or really knock down the price - water in the plug hole for a few years can ultimately rust out the manifold. Jack up the front and see if...

    F4RT Powered Alien

    Ooooh, I like that a lot :)

    Tyre pressures.

My favourite is 38 front and 36 rear, 205 40 r17, feels more responsive if a bit firm on the lousy roads we have.

How Rare Is The Facelift Twingo?

I'm running a white one. Bought mid 2016 with only 18k on the clock. Now at 40k and never missed a beat, despite my fettling and general cack handidness! Best looking hot hatch on the road in my opinion! :)

    HI IM NEW HERE

So, how are you enjoying it?! Got any modifications planned?

    Help needed

About two hours to fit the PMS ARB. Just make sure to support equally the body, wheel and rear beam off the ground simultaneously and fitting is very simple really. It's probably the best handling modification I've done and was only £185.

    Seat belt problems

I would unclip and reconnect the wiring under the seat buddy to clean the contacts on the switch. It is quite a common problem. Also squirt a little WD40 or similar in the seat belt buckle mechanism. Let us know if this fixes the problem for you?
