thinking of changing gearknob, took original off no probs, but do I have to cut the white plastic bit off the shaft? or does it slide off?

every time I use the brake pedal, my side lights come on plus the illuminated light bulb on the dash comes on? also the drivers door glass rattles like mad when the window is down. any ideas

does anybody know how to remove the rev counter? is it just a pull out and push back in or is it a dash remove job

just got a new samco hose, it's the hose from the radiator to the expansion tank, samco part No 3588 in case you want to buy one for your car.

watching 5th gear the other nite and there was a megane gt on, noticed that the headrests had the GT logo inscribed on them, any one know if they would fit into the twingo gt seats, mite have a look for scrapped megane gt see if i can try fit the headrests....

how often should i change the oil? once or twice a year, i cover no more than 6000 miles a year and use castrol fst 5w/30, is it worth changing the oil twice a year? the cars 6 yrs old and done 35k.

anybody know if i decat my car, what probs i mite encounter? will any warning lights come on? apart from emmisions at mot time, would it fail on anything else without the cat?

currently running 17 x 7 with 25mm spacers and no problems at all, wanting to go back to 15" rims but with a width of 8", seen some nice Rota's, but not sure if they would fit, any help please

just wondered if any of you former GT owners who changed to 133 1.6 engined cars would know if any of the coolant hose's were the same, the Samco kit has 5 coolant hose's, obviously bugger all for GT. Thanks..

found an ebay shop in germany charges £10 deliverey on most items overstocks24 boeckautoteile, over 600 twingo items, you name it, RS spoiler brand new un painted £116 delivered, engine items, interior trim,electrics shed loads, have a look.

car passed MOT at Halfords, but advisories state nearside and offside Anti-roll bar linkage worn but not seriously weakened. Then they quoted £190.00 to change them. Are they really that expensive or is it a 4 hour job? Anyone done a "how to".

anybody done "how to" for a how to fit a boost gauge with pics, went to local auto electrican, didn't have a fookin clue.

anybody know if swapping manifold and using a bigger turbo would be possible for the gt? ie using items from bigger renault turbo powered cars?
