Cant believe this!

We are still uncertain about whether we will be able to fly on Thursday due to the snow at heathrow.

However, the hotel we were going to stay at have just called us up and said they cant open as they are not ready ( we are meant to arrive on thursday) It is a brand new holiday which was going to open on thursday and had promised us that everything would be fine. It looks like a stunning hotel and is was costing roughly £1,600 per night for bed and breakfast (dinner not included).

Anyway, they called us and said they wont be ready, they then said its ok, we have booked you in another hotel... we just looked on trip advisor and the hotel they have booked us in looks horrid and the reviews are terrible.

As a result we have gone back to the hotel that we have stayed in for years. Its in a different resort in Switzerland but its a nice hotel with good skiing. Thankfully they have space for us and gave us 5% off (as returning guests, not loads but better than nothing!)

Now the only problem left - actually getting there. If we are unable to fly there on thursday, we are going to drive out there taking our time, we have done it before so its fine, its just a long way.

Can't believe this, have waited all year for this holiday and now everything seems to be fu*king up!

Merry Christmas.

All booked on credit card yes, so its fine from that point.

Not sure off the top of my head what the swiss policy is on snow tyres/chains.

We just sold our spike spiders we had for the old BMW.. we will just have to get some if needs be... although getting them to fit the monster tires on the X5 is another story.

Just so you know you cant fit snow chains to Renaultsports unless you want no arches left ;)
