I've done this in a few cars now and it works pretty well in the Twingo so thought I'd share it. Basically you just take a feed off the existing light in the boot and plug some LED strips into it - I use the ones like these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2X-White-48-SMD-LED-Car-Strip-Under-Light-Neon-Footwell-Flexible-Waterproof-D8-/281876326886?hash=item41a12369e6:gS4AAOSwAKxWYxn0
I've bodged it up in at the minute by snapping a fork connector and wedging the spade in the contact for the existing light (obviously there is a more permanent fix but I do like that I can return the car to stock in seconds)
Then I pushed the lights in behind the rubber seal (not in the important bit though). The result means that you can actually see things in the boot, even when it's full of crap.
