Fitting an electronic boost controller.

Firstly disconnect the standard solenoid. [Black unit connected to air inlet pipe]

Mount new solenoid in the engine bay [excuse my temporary arrangement!] using custom bracket. [Near side strut top would be ideal]

Attach the INLET side of the new solenoid to the nipple on the outlet of the turbo. [Found under the actuator]

Attach the OUTLET of the new solenoid to the wastegate actuator.

T-piece the vacuum feed from the manifold which supplies the dump valve.

Feed the pipe through the rubber grommet at the back of the engine bay on the near side.

Pull back the carpet back in the passenger footwell to expose the grommet inside the cabin.

Route solenoid wiring through the rubber grommet at the back of the engine bay

[Decide where you want to mount the control unit it and place it there]

Attach new vacuum feed to the control unit.

Splice into a 12v switchable feed and ground from behind the radio to power the unit and run wiring to the control unit.

Double check all connections in the cabin and the engine bay.

Programme and enjoy!

Gizzmo ebc, it's blue in the pictures. 11.6 psi boost for now. Will turn it up a bit when clutch is done and 182 injectors are fitted
