Hi
When I accelerate hard the car struggles, I have to push the accelerator pedel to the floor and then it picks up.
Could it be the throttle body sensor or that the throttle body needs cleaning?

Thanks

I'd certainly whip off the air feed and use some carb cleaner on the throttle body, nice easy job. Would also consider fuel pressure, MAP sensor and air leaks. How do the plugs look, and how does the car idle?

At what revs are you flooring it ? If it's below 3,500 revs then it does take awhile to pick up as there's no low down tourqe got to make sure your in the right gear.

Ady, check that the MAP sensor you have is genuine. I put a cheap (£25) aftermarket one on mine the other day and had exactly the same issues that you describe, A new, genuine part (£100 or thereabouts) and it's good as gold.

Also check coil packs (x4)
