Looked this up many times but couldn't find anything conclusive.

Can one stroke a K4M RS engine ? Maybe using 172/182/197 (F4R) crankshaft and rods (which would make it a 79.5 x 93 = 1847cc engine), or are they incompatible (deck height, different engine series ? Heads look similar though).
Guess it would end up being simpler to just dump the F4R in.

Thanks.

totally different engine series, im sure the f4r is a lot wider so the crank wouldn't drop in to the k4m block. Cheap easy power increase is an engine swap. The k4m is pretty strung out and hard to extract power from when looking at cost vs horsepower. The only reason to keep it and tune it would be for racing regulations.
