Fitted one of these bad boys today, most modern ecus will adjust fueling to a certain amount of boost before an emergency cut off for overboost, so far so good:

Had one on my old GT but got carryied away  and turned it up to much

Not a RS ;)

Dont want new people looking and thinking they can do this to there RS :D

Yeah but it doesnt say RS engine mods etc, it says engine exhaust etc, also pretty dumb if someone thinks they can put a boost controller on an N/A car

Gotta redo it, in my hastiness i thought i could cut corners and run it off the bov vacum but going to run it direct off actuator isntead

Random question... Does this replace anything or simply does it simply plumb inline?

It plumbs inline, the same way an electric one would do, only some cars need parts replacing, such as evos as they have a boost controller as standard, the way i plumbed this in on vacum upped the boost but it wasnt accurate enough, i had to turn it loads to get minor boost where as usually 1 full turn is around 4 psi so i took it off, going to refit it on the actuator piping but won't be till after this bastard snow has fucked off again

Within reason hence why i need to fit an air fuel gauge, the ECU will correct the fueling as it will see more air going in but there is an over boost cut off point aswell, hence i need to get it just right, should see a decent gain without having to get a remap just gotta make sure its not running lean, so once air fuel is on i'll take it down to brands as theres a rolling road there and see how its running properly
