Hi everyone,

I have a 2008 twingo mk2 1.2. The other day I went to start the car and it immediately revved to 3500rpm and stuck there - unresponsive to the accelerator pedal. After googling it seemed this was a throttle body problem, and after opening it up I could see the throttle body was heavily corroded.

I have now replaced the throttle body with a new one. The car now starts normally, but if I rev the engine up to 3000rpm (out of gear!) it will get stuck and ‘bounce’ between 3000 and 3500 rpm.

I don’t have any device to plug into the ECU - is there any combination of disconnecting the battery or fuses to enter a throttle calibration mode?

Any help/advice very welcome - cheers.
