I'm in France until the end of August.

My car clipped a curb (I was not driving), and airbag activated.
Main dealer will not help; wants more than the car is worth for new airbag, seat-belts, ECU reset, wheel tyre. etc.

Is it possible to get it restarted easily and cheaply?

I am visiting home this weekend and can probably get the airbag ECU reset.
Can probably get new wheel and tyre from eBay.
And I've seen airbag bypass resistors are available on eBay.

What do I need to do to get it re-started? Then I'll get a new seat fitted when I return to the UK.

try removing fuse 8 from the fuse box in the glovebox. my car was reversed into and it would start pulled this left it out for about 30secs then replaced and she fired up, i have heard of this happening when a car has clipped the kerb badly as well. Not sure if it will work if the airbag has deployed tho.

do a search on here for it.
