just took off my rear brace and seen that the rubber bush has taken a beating. theres a rubber coat over the metal on the top parts which seems to have been worn away and the rubber on the lower part is tacky and wore down.
anyone else checked their top bushs from adding the rear brace? cars done about 35-40k with it on and never been taken off.

Excuse to polybush it?

I was thinking of making up mounting plates for an existing adjustable alloy brace I have.
Would spread out the pressure and save it from what has happened to yours =(
Typical Renault Rubber...

would need to push a mass e-mail from both UK and euro twingo sites to get a company to bump the 133 and other models higher on their plan to do list, believe polyflex has them down to be made in next 4 odd years. again having tuning companies a'la ktec etc would help in the process.

Is the top mount just a rubber spacer that sits on the top of the turret essentially?
Powerflex do 200 series washers, sizes from 20mm to 75mm OD, 6 to 25mm ID and 10 to 32mm Height.
Or maybe Powerflex Universal bumpstops?

Try Demon Thieves =) 2011 Motorsport Catalogue, page 389
