Ok guys,

What do you know about the 1.2tce ecu.... Who has the best knowledge about the files to remap or add new management....

Tech heads get your shizzle on... Mine will need mapping next week...

I've found this info below.... But no clue wtf it means....

Siemens
SW=111RD348CA - 1111111111
CHK=Siemens SIM32
Read and Write with CMD

not on french version (so the original ^^)

& sirius 34 on clio Rs 2004

Which is it on the tce then?!?

Who has most experience with these files and remapping them, ktec or rs tuning?!

It seems the limiting factor to my project is the knowledge of the mapping as the files. Are relatively unknown etc...

personnaly i don't know for tce so for english tce even less

anyway these calculator are complycated but ktec seem's to have so expertize

Siemens sim32 8200700600 apparently....

Why is the mapping is limited on the tce engines... I would have thought a small turbo engine in today's climate would be a good thing to exploit and develop....

Based in leeds... Driving the car from ashford to Leeds with new manifold, turbo and intercooler etc before mapping could be an interesting experience....

RS tuning are good mappers and experienced in the TCe engines,call them and talk to Paul.

Did he map yours? I've been told Paul has good and bad days.... Lol I will call him and see what what.

Yes he did, mine was one of the first GTs he has mapped, I admit mine is not perfect, however, the map he has done is bloody brilliant, all current issues with my car have happened before the remap so have nothing to do with his mapping, more so issues that are ongoing.

I have sent him emails about other items and any issues that have arisen with my car and the customer service is the best by far!

If you want a remap make sure you get 182 injectors otherwise you'll be overworking your standard injectors.

I have the injectors already, arrived yesterday, cleaned them up with wd40, look ok and will go in when mapped.

What issues do you have ongoing mine?? Mine was going to go to ktec years ago and be there first tce for development but didn't happen as I took a new job and more travelling.

Just out ofminterest what bhp and torque did he achieve when mapped?

Before the remap on a cold start it once cut out around a corner below 1k revs clutch in and got stuck on a very high curb.

Has happened pulling out the drive exact same way yesterday, I'm going to check the Idle control valve I think it is and get it cleaned out, also on cold starts it runs very rough and the remap didn't clear that.

Also my DV broke causing it to vent at any boost level causing the car to over fuel due to lack of boost and go in limp mode and loss of power.

Also going to get a full health check on my car on the service as the TCe engine has been anything but reliable to me, fun to drive but a pain to live with so I've started to look at new cars for when insurance is up although I will be left with negative equity.

And it doesn't start every time to add on that, looking at a small jap car maybe, it's such a shame as I love the car but the faults are doing my head in now

As for power and torque it's running a safe 132bhp and 147lbs/ft, Paul did create a map running 140+bhp and 155o lbs/ft but without v power or a FMIC it was on the limit of safe.

Idle control valve, maf sensor, could also be a head gasket maybe, have you had compression test? Could it be the turbo... They do take time tom warm up a d cool down....

Good results,... Wonder what I'll get with the custom manifold full exhaust and gt1544 turbo also having large front mount, :)

For the cost of a new car could you not rebuild the engine.... That would cure the problems and leave you with a decent car...

I shall look at the compression test also I need to find places near me who offer this.

As long as you have a new fuel pump and clutch as I can imagine 150+bhp but unsure what standard internals can handle, I'd stay on the safe side and not push the boat too far! Needless to say I shall be following your progress very closely ;)

Yes I can but I like the idea of a 1.5turbo colt ralliart seeing as h-tec are 5minutes away from me and specialise in the 1.5T colts.. or dependant on how work goes EK9, DC5... Basically forced induction or the only N/A I'd get has to be VTEC, paying out for fixing problems that shouldn't occur is very frustrating.

It's a shame as twingos are such a rare car around here and surprise alot of people.
