Hi everybody, first time here. I need a bit of help.

I own a Twingo 1994, recently my upper radiator hose burst open and had to be replaced, I found the part easily enough but with one small difference, the inner mounted thermostat wasn't fitted in the replacement and the mechanic who did the work threw the old hose away.

So after a couple of kilometers the engine heats up and the pressure builds up enough to activate the pressure release valve on the reservoir lid, so it loses water and the engine doesn't cool.

So here's the issue, clearly the car can't run without the thermostat and I can't find the proper in-hose thermostat and don't even know if it can be put back into the hose if I had it.

It'd be great if someone has the answer.

Thank you!
