Where is the speed sensor (in the gearbox)?

So, found that the power steering issue is most likely related to the speed sensor, got a new one.. The instructions I found said it pulls out.. spend a merry hour trying to pull out the water temperature sensor. Bugger. Then found the plug underneath and tried to pull out the reverse light switch. Bugger x2. Oh well, it will get a change of gear oil I suppose. But I still haven't found the speed sensor - where is it?
