Down the right b road there is not a lot will catch a 133 as it will out handle most things on the road they are just not that quick in a straight line.
If you get a cup it's also lightweight as well completely different to the focus.

Try the Clio first the mpg will be higher compared to the focus, Mégane 225's will see 40mpg on a run and the Clio will be a good chunk lighter.

If its not getting fuel try cleaning the fuel filter that sits in the tank as when I was building the rally car I cleaned it out and it was full of shit so might be worth a try and doing anyway as the cars are getting on in age now.

Agree with dave about the verdsteins, never any issues with them and used to use them on road rallys as the all round performance is brilliant. You will struggle to get a hard side wall on a road tyre. The ride on the 17"s on our roads is crap hence people dropping to 16"s. I run 15"s on the...
