Brake upgrade advice for track days!

As said I don't think the callipers are that weak, straight off a Laguna. The discs are off a Megane. I think it is mainly a issue of getting the correct pads to suit your needs. If the car is still been driven on the road you need to take that into account. Pads which only work at high temp...

Water ingress - passenger front footwell

Not taken all the front out on a Twingo before but usually it's carpet and the rubber underneath which should pull off but there is still likely to be clips. I would hazard next up is the windscreen fitted badly or as you said previous scuttle leak. Maybe it's time to get the hosepipe out to...

Water ingress - passenger front footwell

Have you check the water - smell etc. I say this as the usual thing you worry about first when water is in the footwell is that the heater matrix is gone. Windscreen could be leaking as well as another option.

    Something fell off?

Well the problem I would think is more to do with the fact they are quite hard springs and these British roads don't half give them a working out. Once rust sets in and finds a stress point they go.

    Airbag deployed help!

I would think there is a good chance on getting a seat from a breakers given the age of these cars now.

You better check before you haven't lost the plastic mounts if it's the rear. DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR UNLESS YOU ARE TAKING IT TO A GARAGE. It's defo a spring. If it's a rear the job takes half an hour to do both sides - something most people could do if they have a jack & axle stands. Do both...

    Surely this isnt normal?

Easy way to check mounts is put the handbrake on. Open the bonnet and get someone to put gas on and let the clutch out so the car is trying to pull but the handbrake is holding the car back. Viewing with the bonnet open you should see excessive rock and hear if anything rubs.

    Surely this isnt normal?

Some other thoughts. Has someone taken out the sound deadening to lighten the car? Has someone taken off the plastic blank on the air-box to increase induction roar? Has it got a none standard exhaust manifold on it? If the engine is touching something you should be getting vibrations in the...

Standard alloys, spoiler, suspension and bmc filter

Sorted some wheels so withdraw interest.

    Surely this isnt normal?

The mid box split is a absolute breeze to fix and lasts. Where it's blowing down the seam simply grind edge off to reveal clean steel. Clamp seams together and mig it. Seriously even dodgy MOT garage welders couldn't mess it up. Took me 10 mins. Did mine two years ago and still not blowing...

    new rear shocks needed

You can get quite dig discounts is you ring round Renault dealers and we are not talking 10%.

Standard alloys, spoiler, suspension and bmc filter

I take it the alloys are black, they look black from the photos. So as I understand 3 of the alloys are as new? Can you describe what is exactly wrong with the fourth?

    Loss of Power! Help/Experience appreciated!

Or you could have done it for yourself for have the price. NKG Renault plugs less than £30, coil look at the original see who manufactured/code on it and order it minus the word 'Renault' written on it off the net for about £20. The leak in reality is barely a issue to worry about as you can...

    Covering the old war wounds

Might be cheaper to buy a another 133 with decent paint and sell yours instead of doing that I would have thought.

Why is my mpg so bad.

Only filling up at a 'station' may result in buying the exact same fuel as what the supermarket sells. Yes a Shell garage will have different additives but certain other petrol stations may have exactly the same as the super market.
