Add oil temperature

Hi, I searched but I didn't find the exact answer for this.
How can you add an oil temp gauge in the Twingo? Is it simple and how much foes it costs? Do you have to use a sandwich plate?
Also I was wondering if you can see the oil temp via obd; I know that there isn't a real sensor but the RS monitor give it due to some calculations I guess. I have a 2008 RS.

i have an oil temp gauge used a sandwich plate on the oil filter and fitted a gauge pod into the A pillar dont have any pics on my laptop though

Scan gauge is only a model value, not real measured. Better use a real sensor.

I used the oil filter housing of the K9K engine (1.5dci). You can simply install the temperature sensor with an adapter for the sensor´s thread where the pressure switch is located, or you install there a pressure can for the oil pressure and drill a hole in the hollw screw for the temperature sensor.

Some types have also a oli water heat exchanger included, but take care the length of the hollow screw differs!

Hey it wont let me upload a picture but i think i got mine from pro sport then got the pod from ebay then cant remember where i got the sandwich plate from
