Aftermarket Headunit

I'm looking at upgrading all the audio parts in my 133. Sub, amp, speakers/tweeters and a new headunit. I have the RS monitor installed just now and was wandering if I upgrade the standard headunit will I loss the functions of the RS monitor?

The RS monitor still works fine BUT instead of a clock the 'RENAULTSPORT' logo is always displayed in the LCD display. The RS monitor obviously replaces this when activated. I actually think it's quite cool.
