As above.

Mines was missing when I bought the car so obviously the previous owner removed it.

Just looking to put it back in to see what the difference is.

Comes as part of the complete airbox.
Duck tape will be a good substitute.
unfortunately it's true. Would work out to be an expensive bit of rubber

I will be taping mine back up this weekend.
Dont know how much heat soak gets into the airbox rom the hot engine bay when its been stood in this sunny weather and obviously stop started.

Minimal?

And when its running of course.
Will soon find out.

Can you not just buy an equivalent size bung to block it off?
It's would be hard to get 1 mate. It's a bit of rubber with loads of circles on that go in the holes. Mines in my glove box

It makes the airbox a bit louder, that´s all.

Mine is with the airbox, in my cellar, useless so...

No noticeable loss in performance though strangely enough.

I tested with and without bung back to back over a period of a few days.

I ended up putting the bung back in the glovebox.
Air intake temps from the scangauge didnt seem much affected either.

I'll do another run this weekend and report values back.

I removed mine and I didn't notice anything more than that roar.
No negative or positive changes in driving behavior or else.
Acceleration stays the same as my stop watch confirmed.

Renault didn't make these holes randomly, but they also wouldn't plan something like this, with the possibility of decreasing the cars performance in my opinion.

I still have my bung if you want it to see the difference?
