neil i'm fairly positive the 2l and 3l tdi's are common rail diesels, i've only been in the 2l and it really does pull like a dundee girl. gavin is yours FWD or Quattro ?

Yes it's the new 2.0 177PS motor. According to Audi's publicity, all their current TDI engines have common rail and piezo injectors. The salesman said the 177PS was new for 2013.

No, no mods planned. Perfectly happy with it as is.

LOL at "Dundee Girl" - they must be the Scottish equivalent of Rotherham Girls :lol: The engine certainly has plenty of grunt when you need it - torque is 380 N·m (280 lbf·ft) at 1750-2500rpm
