Does the twingo have an on dash service light for when brake pads need replaced? Renault said mine were a red on their scale but my mate who's a mechanic said they look barely half worn!

I think the car just beeps at you.

With about 63.000 my breaks had been gone. No light, no beep, nothing. I just felt it when I pressed it on speedway and it felt like 2 parts are melting in each other (what in fact was the case... drove 3 days in a row and was too tired and messed up to realize that breaks already died...).

Better look from time to time instead of hoping that the car will alert you ;)
