So i want to buy an RS monitor for my RS Gordini (2009 model) but i asked my garage dealer if they would buy the component and fit it

they told me they would buy it but give no warenty if it would work after they fitted it and then activate it with the clip monitor (as this should normally work) i now develooper made it work but they said the price would be around 250 euro's fitting and testing but if it doesnt work bye bye 250 euros and a non activated RS monitor is fitted in my dashboard then

can anyone help me get me more solid information if this is possible to make the RS monitor work , after fitting the RS monitor in a Twingo RS gordini (wasn't standard fitted in my twingo) and then activating it ?

Personally I wouldn't do it. I have it in my Silverstone and it hardly gets used. On the up side it is great fun watching the throttle level drift up and down on windey roads! :)

If you've got an iPhone or iPod you can use the Renault Sport app for G-Force, timings, 0-62, 1/16 mile etc and just buy a mount for it to go on the dash

main thing i would use it for is Oil and Water Temp. , thanks for giving your opinion guys if you have another sugestion to maybe find something to read my oil and water temp please say so ;)

I can't remember what the item is called I'm sure some no's but there is something that you can plug into ur diagnostic plug in point and it give's you them reading's sorry I can't remember the name but I no someone no's the name

I was going to buy.

Scangauge does that. In my experience it's not always relevant up to date (it doesn't refresh too quickly I don't think, been a while since I've used one) but it was a good indication of what's going on and far better than available as standard!
