And a very poor night time photo of the RS133 placed in the footwell. Will try again when daylight arrives!

Original post below

I've drawn up a few designs and I'm wanting your opinions on them :)

I'm going to make a batch of these, dont know how many and of what type yet.
I've allocated material to produce around 30, could produce 50 if demand is there.

I can tell you they will be made of 304 grade brushed finish stainless steel.
Alloy/ Aluminium is possible, but it tends to scratch/chip too easily as its soft unless anodised.

Lets start by showing the designs

Obviously the 133.net footrest will make the 1 look black when its mounted on the carpet.

Thanks to Matt, stickeroo, for a bit of inspiration on the RS133 type footrest. Hope you approve. :)

A few pics of the scale size parts in situ.

Dont worry these are only paper templates.
The production ones once complete will have four rivets fitted to the corners to make them look authentically fixed.
I'm presuming everyone will want to use velcro as opposed to drilling the footwell of the car.

If you guys dont like the sound of the rivets, I can delete and make plain.

Missed the obvious Checkered pattern to complement the Renaultsport pedals
I'll do a design for these and post up soon.

The drilled pattern is based on the RS Megane 250 footrest.

I'd happily take a rs133 one of your hands:)

Cheers dude.
I'll be sure to post up pics of the prototypes soon.

Mods/ site owners, feels free to adjust thread category and moderate as necessary.

I'm not a trader, just trying to provide a product for our cars which is sadly lacking for those of us who use the RS as daily drivers.
Must admit, the area in front of the accelerator is one of concern for wear, but I'll give that one a miss due to slipping etc.

Any idea on a rough price? Really like the look of them.

I was thinking of trying to make them as economically attractive as possible.

The material thickness is similar to existing pedal cover, at 1.5mm
Was thinking if I could offer at around the £10 - £15 mark delivered it would be a hit.

FYI fellas, the overall length of the footrest up the slope of the carpet is 140mm so if you want to drop a tape in your footwell you'll find they just fit nicely.

Width is close to width of accelerator pedal cover at 40mm

I'm liking this and moderation is defo not required!

Although I have got one problem with it..... What to go for, Gordini... rs133... 133.net!!! I have no idea!

Although if it's velcro I would be tempted to say leave them unrivited

I'll do a quick one for the GT then JamesGT

jra3d - the rivets are just for effect for than anything, I suppose I'll get pics up and people can decide whether they drill their own or leave them plain.

RS133 ones sound like a go-er then :)
