So Here's my little phototopic /project thread.
My first proper car, as I'm only 19 and got my driverslicence for just a year now,

The back, how it first was:

Not much later I de-badged it:

In first I was searching some proper RS cup rims, but they where damn hard to find second hand. Was also on the hunt for some Turini's, but they where still a bit to expensive..
So ended up with some 16" Borbet's. Also lowered the car 25MM with the GT / Eibach set:

Lowering the car was the best impovement so far! Absolutely love the way the car handles around corners.

And as requested, a close-up from the wheel:

Still got a lot of plans, but first I have to find some cash to do so..

The nosejob, a rear diffusor and some interior goodies are part of my plans,

will keep you guys updated!

just bought some silvervisions and led sidelights (also one for the interiorlight), so will have that update done in the next few minutes..

My mums is a Blue majorelle, at least, that's what it said in the brochure when she picked it.

Time for a little update, no major changes made on the car yet, been a busy time, haven't much done to the car other then driving it :lol:

but bought some interior goodies for a bargain the other day, today I finally had some time to relax and install some of it:

another kn0b is still on order. and the battery of my drillingmachine was empty, otherwise the handbrakecover would be installed too today.

Never use to be a fan of red cars but i think the Twingos look stunning in red

Twingos are nice in every colour
and looking at the picture makes the RS sleeve look silly with the platic kn0b

Can always get a RS knob.

The RS knob that comes with the sleeve doesn't fit the 1.2 versions. But there's another aluminium knob that does fit the 1.2, but that one is still in order at my local Renault dealer, so for now I have to use the silly plastic one :lol:

You have a point due to the lift up reverse it wont fit.

Fingers crossed the one you have ordered turns up soon.

Hey nice updates, could you help me with a few questions about the gear gaitor:
was it easy to fit as in did you have to stich anything? haha! (I cannot use a needle and thread to save my live)
Is the knob your getting the RS megane 250 one? as my mum and dads car is the 250 and that has the lift up reverse so im guessing it would fit?

I'm sorry hollie, only just saw your reaction! But it's really easy to fit! just pull the original one of and put the RS one in. The only thing you need to do is to firts ty-rap / tierap (or however it's spelled)the upper part of the sleeve around the gearlever, at the'bobble' you pull up when getting the car in reverse. when you do that first, you can pull the whole thing over the ty-rap and put the grey surrounding in place.


It's really simple and really everybody can do!
And the dinosaurs working at my local Renault dealer messed up the order of the knob twice! in the end they wanted me to pay them for their mistakes, didn't agree with them :lol: So now I'll order another knob at a RS specialist a bit further down the road, but then I will probably at least be able to get a proper knob.. wich should fit the Megane 250 too I believe, you could always try?
