Hi, I fitted a new gaiter to the gear knob today and saw that there's a spare brown electrical connector hidden underneath but it's not attached to anything.

Any ideas as to it's intended purpose? Thanks.

(It's a 2013 facelift model).

it's the accessories socket even though it's strictly defunct / not live, in a twingo. it's a standard renault part to the best of my knowledge, it's a standard wiring loom across the range that is reused throughout the years, it basically does nothing and isn't live although you can use it to retrofit anything using it as a power source
