Im looking to put a different engine in my Twingo.

Ive been considering the F4R but there are a few different versions and its hard to tell which is the best route. Im really keen on the 230 megane version, mounts and exhaust are not an issue as i can fab these. Im just curious as to the gearbox.

I wasl also looking to take the entire clip and ecu.

Any help would be great :D

gear box need a bit some mode to fit but it's possible

i guess its alsmost similar to the TL4 from clio

you can see on the yotha car he swap 2L from clio3

Brill thanks.

So ideally need a engine, gearbox, wiring loom ecu, driveshafts and hubs. Unless the twingo shafts and hubs are suitable.

It can be done and it has been but u need some mad skills or a few £ behind u. I'd go megane 225 engine all the way and remap and few goodies would get you 300 bhp, in a twingo. That will upset a few bmw owners at the lights.... :)

I'd go meg 250/265 engine instead, they're easier to modify and build stronger than 225 one, at least that's what I've read on Megane Sport forums.
Still don't know what has to be cut to fit 6 speed gearbox, but it fits. I hope yotah will write something about it since he had it done in his Twingo.
