Story is I took the car for an MOT which it passed & they told me the car overheated when doing the Emissions test, had the car over a year & never had any overheating problems. I returned to the car and the garbled English speaking mechanic was topping up the water saying it was low, where as I serviced & checked everything before the MOT & the level was fine. I've used this Station for 4 years now & always had good service.

I've tried to simulate this at home by keeping the RPM at 3000 for 4 minutes & the car didn't dump any water so not sure if he was trying for extra work or a tip or something

Can anyone tell me where the cooling fan switch is so I can short it out to see if the fan is working, photo would be helpful, or I have a fastchip module which I can read temp on took it up to 94 Deg & nothing seemed to happen, what temp should the Fan switch on/off ?

Cheers

Tom
