I stumbled here after a search, trying to find suitable winter tyres for a 133, as I will be getting a Gordini 133 with Cup chassis and anthracite wheels at the beginning of March.

A set of 15" wheels and 195/55/15 winter tyres look like the way forward, saving the 17's from the worst of the salt and pot-holes of our scottish winter roads.

The jury is still out wether to keep the stripes or not! Thoughts?

:D

Welcome! I think most Gordini owners have kept the stripes? Its kinda like a whole part of the "Gordini style"?

Keep the stripes !!!!!!
If you dont want them then buy a normal 133

Welcome aboard.

As others have said, the colour and stripes are the historic identity of Gordini going back over 50 years. Take them off and the ghost of old Amedee Gordini may well come and haunt you...

I guess you will be pleased to hear the stripes will be staying. Well at least to begin with anyway as they are actually part of the package, not the usual wanabe halfards specials.

Thanks for the welcome :D
