Hi everyone im on looking some advice about an HID kit for Gordini. Not sure what kind to order ie 8000k or 6000k or where is a good place to order them from? any advice would be greatly welcomed. Cheers.

6k is needed or 4300k

only 2 worth bothering with

we get club discount at hids for u so worth trying them

Neither ofthem colour temps IMO. 4300k would be ideal

There are some here with Hids (notably Karl and James) who have Hids that are just right, I've driven at Night with both of them behind me and not once did they blind me.

Some, however, have stupid blue lights that I find totally off putting

https://www.hids4u.co.uk/ are renowned for having decent kit.

I would advise 6k as any further is when you start to notice the blue tint and start losing light output. As mentioned above 4.3k is an option too (which is what car manufacturers tend to use from factory).

As maggi mentioned in running 6000k HiDs they are perfect not orangy light or too blue. Just a clean white light

My old car ran 6000k but they were projector lamps so slightly easier to work with Hids really. The twingo lamps are shocking and I could barely tell they were on this evening so I may consider some again but will be 4300k

Cheers everyone for the advice. I had a look on the hids4 u site but they seem a bit expensive, i seen these on ebay:item code 290540940283 or item code 110765861798. Sorry i dont know how to post the ebay link

:( i never had an issue with my old ones. HOw long have you had them in?

And I can't remember which colour yours are? THey looked bluer than Karls, which I think are 4300k? So yours must be 6000k right?

They are 6k mate and had them just under a year but purchased through here with a former trader
