How to run cold air feed

Hi guys
I am new to this so excuse any stupid questions lol
I have a pipercross viper induction kit already, what's the best way to fit the cold air feed, could you use the existing one already in the car or does that make the induction kit pointless ?

Any help would really be appreciated

I'd probably modify the original as a cold air feed to the new filter tbh, seems it would get a decent air flow?
Other people may have done it differently though.

So you would try and use the existing one, looks straight forward to do tbh
