Shoulda just got the wifi dude, you can pair it to your iphone and use the internet that way, still wicked investment i want an ipad myself, just can't bring myself to buy one when i need to save for the next car! still my bdays coming up i'm sure someone can spring for it haha

True you can tether it but with data caps on usage with most phone networks now you can only do the VERY basics before hitting your limit.

you can get a good data plan for the iphone itself though, and the iphone becomes a wifi hotspot
