Following a recent trip to the local Renault garage I have been informed that I need new rear pads. My Twingo is a 133 running the cup suspension. I'm not planning on any track day usage from the Go Kart but I am an enthusiastic driver ;-)

What would be the best pad for the rear?
Is it worth changing the discs too?
If the fronts are not changed will it mess with the balance of the car?

Thanks in advance

:-D

I don't think the rear matters that much as most of the breaking is happening at the front.
Keeping it OEM will suffice.

If you are keeping OEM on the front then you really should match the rear brake pads. Have a look at the condition of your brake discs. If they are scored or particularly low then change them at the same time. Because the bearings are inbuilt into the discs its not particularly cheap to change discs though.
