It came to my mind that I have the 08' Twingo Cup version too late since on Saturday my "normal" dampers for my Twingo RS arrived. On Saturday I tried changing the lower ball joints and I couldn't remove them, so the car is at the hobby garage. Tomorrow I will go to finish the job and at the same time I thought about putting the normal dampers.
As far as my research goes, the cup pack has a different spring rate and only 4 mm in height difference. I think this shouldn't be a problem. However, has someone already tried this? How did it work?
(I live in Germany, so cup dampers are hard to get. Until now no one has them on stock and they seem to not produce them anymore. Knowing what they cost on England with third party retailers, I don't even want to ask Renault).
