number plate lights

I got some led lights for my number plate lights. I fitted one of the bulbs and it worked fine, fitted the other one and it didn't work so i fitted it the other way to see if that worked which it did only if i moved the terminals on the bulb to contact with the bulb holder. After moving them to make contact it stopped both lights from working. Aany idea what caused it? I cant find which fuse powers the lights

Yeah you've probably blown fuse 43 in the passenger compartment. 10A in the glovebox pal. Check that as it happened to me last week!

cheers buddy I have sorted it since posting this, it was fuse 43
