Oil seems to be blowing pass the oil cap.

Very slowly mind. Its done this for a least a year. When I first noticed it I got a new cap from Renault (like I said about a year ago). The little bath around the cap fills up with oil, this is after 2 months, a 1000 miles or so.

If it's not bad it shouldn't be a problem. Obviously it is a sign of potentially many engine problems but it doesn't seem to be much oil over 2 months.

Many years a ago an engine started doing it badly on one of my cars and the problem was the piston rings had worn badly.
