Removing racing stripes

Has anyone removed the stripes on their Gordini?

I made the mistake of using a pressure washer to wash down mine and destroyed the stripes on the bonnet.

Going to get them replaced but at £240 just for the replacement it wont be for a month or so and i don't want to drive around with them looking the way they do at the moment.

Have learnt my lesson - off to Halfords this weekend to get some products to clean and polish my baby.

Hi,

Not got stripes on my one but always found the best way to remove stickers/decals is using a heat gun gently over the sticker and then peeling it back. Normally use a bit of degreaser just to go over the area to remove any remaining sticky bits. Should do the trick for you.
