Kenny. Does this help>>
https://www.twingo133.net/how/setting-voice-recognition-dialing-t6636.html

It was your post that got me curious wether mine worked or not :)

No unfortunately doesn't help. Ive done all the steps in the guide (I followed the stereo manual), there is something wrong with the software or the button itself. When I press and hold the voice activation button on the remote stalk it does nothing, if I press it once it brings up the phone menu.

Forgot to update: Renault have acknowledged my ambient temp sensor is faulty/intermittent (they have ordered a new one). They have also acknowledged my voice dialling feature does not work despite have setup correctly- they are downloading the latest stereo software. Dropping the car off nxt week for them to fix these issues.

Tracking is due to parking on kerbs, thrashing round corners etc but tracking goes out easily but that's due to you man :) as for the rails, unfortunately the harsh truth is that its your arse which plants on the seat so its your arses fault for the wear and tear lol its crap I know man, and I work for renault so I've seen it all before man, feel for ya bud

Ive accepted their justifications as to why they can't do the tracking, I've had tracking adjusted on my Citroen c2 for hitting a pot hole hard, I know this. Had it sorted by kwik fit but still was out- figured i could trust Renault to sort it and do a proper job. It's also actually not me that's caused 'wear and tear', I've had the car for about 3 months. Seat and tracking problems I noticed within the first 2 weeks of ownership.

I still think its ridiculous with the seat rails, it's obviously a design/durability flaw if the rails start rattling after 2 yrs, the car had only done 13,000 miles as well by the time I purchased this year. There are other drivers on here who have had the same rattling issues with rear seat rails having to use materials to stop the vibration. Basically what Renault are telling me is every 13,000 miles or so my rear seats will start to rattle and I'll need to replace the rails!

Welcome to renault my good boy, its not like the french aren't known for giving up quickly eh! Ohhhhhhhh :d

If you lived anywhere near glasgow, i'd have done the tracking and installed a new switch for your bluetooth (common problem) for nowt, well for £3 cost of the switch. If u have any mates doing mechanics in college, ask them if you can come in 2 get your wheels tracked?

Kenny take it to Richard Sanders in Kettering as that's my local stealer & they will sort it no probs.. Allen Renault were RS specialists but there top guy left years ago.. They tried to charge me £30 once to look at my 182 that was 6 months old for warranty work..
I've never been back since ... & nor did I pay £30..

Thanks for the tip. My dad has had Renault's for over 10 years now, he's had all sorts of problems with Allen Renault, he now only goes Bedford. It's a shame a select few dealerships fail to represent Renault in a good light. Giving Allen Renault a bit of leniency now that they are sorting though after resistance.
