Hi all, the time has come for me to move on .
I've had a great time on this forum and felt very welcome from day 1, thank you all.
Anyway I've got a for sale advert on Pistonheads so I'll just copy the text across.
ABS, Alloy wheels, Folding rear bench, Immobiliser, Passenger airbag, Radio/CD, Rear headrests, Sports seats, Side airbags, Front fog lights, Heated door mirrors, Isofix child seat anchor points, PAS, Remote central locking, Steering wheel rake adjustment, Rear wiper, Alarm, Cloth seat trim, Drivers airbag, Electric door mirrors, Front electric windows, Front head restraints, Height adjustable drivers seat, Service indicator, Full size spare wheel. Insurance Group:8
For sale is my Renaultsport Twingo 133 CUP.
I bought the Twingo from Harrats Renault in August last year, it's been a cracking car but it's time for me to move on. I never keep my cars long.
This is the proper 133 CUP, not to be confused with the heavier Twingo 133 Full Fat.
This means a lightweight rear bench, 17" Wheels and Renaultsport CUP Springs and Dampers. Which gives a lower and firmer ride making the car a dream to drive. It has never failed to put a grin on my face.
The Twingo handles like it's on rails and has the ability to embarrass far more exotic machinery in the twisties! I had a Golf R32 before and the Twingo wins hand down round corners.
I'm extremely fussy about my cars and take very good care of them. My girlfriend gets irritated with me for making her to bang her feet together before she gets in and not to touch the windows etc!!
I can hand on heart say the car is immaculate. There is one tiny stone chip on the front bumper, but I doubt you'd spot it. The wheels are unmarked and shine like a mirror.
The Twingo gets washed once a week without fail. If I have to go out on a gritted road, I'll clean it as soon as I get home. I polish and wax it once every couple of months.
It's kept in a garage overnight.
The stripes on the bonnet are just vinyl so if they're not to your taste I can peel them off.
The front and back Renault badges are wrapped in 3M Carbon vinyl, again they can be peeled off if you don't like them.
I removed the rear wiper to give the care a cleaner look and because I hate the smear mark it leaves. I can put it back on or include it in the sale. Whichever's best for you.
I've put yellow film over the fog lights to give an old school French OEM look. These can be pealed off very easily if you're not keen.
Private plate not included. Original plate is: YE10 RVP
The car's got a Renaultsport spoiler and rear diffuser which were painted and fitted by Impact Body Shop in Brighouse.
It's also got Renaultsport Mats which are like new.
The tyres all have plenty of meat left on them. They are Continental Sport Contact 3's. A really good grippy tyre.
I replaced the fronts in February.
I am the 2nd owner of the Twingo. The previous owner had the brake callipers painted red which lends itself to the sporty character of the car.
There's just over a year left on the Warranty. It runs out in June 2013.
Tax until 31/07/12
HPI clear, no finance or anything left to pay.
Two keys.
Milage is 16,573 but will increase slightly as I use the car to get to work.
Full service history which has just been the one service so far. Done at Harrats Renault on 11/01/12 at 11,767 miles. A 133's first service is at 12,000 miles.
I'm a member (ECG1000) of the Twingo 133 forum (twingo133.net) so you can have a look at the cars progress thread on there. Here's my thread: https://www.twingo133.net/projects-progress-threads/charlie-white-133-cup-t3965.html
I think that's about it really. I've probably missed something so if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ring me. I've always got my phone with me so call whenever.
The car can be viewed from 8am to 16:30 at my work in Mirfield, West Yorkshire. About 5 minutes from junction 25 of the M62.
Evenings and weekends in Leeds or Huddersfield. Which ever is easiest for you.
£6,990 or nearest offer.
