Anyone on here from scotland who knows what they are doingwilling to help me fit coilovers to my twingo as i dont trust myself

thanks gordon

I could, but I'm not exactly local at 190 miles each way :(

With coilovers you can wind the adjustment platform down to take tension off (or nearly off) from the spring, this makes it safer and easier to fit/remove the topmounts. Coilovers generaly have a short /stiff main spring and a much weaker helper spring to keep the main one in place when theres no weight on it. With tensin off the main spring, you would be able to compress the helper spring with your fingers ;)

If you left the original front struts as complete assemblies and got new top mount bushes and bearings to go ontop of the front coilover struts, there would be little danger of things going boing and taking your head off.
