suspension leg bolt size

tried to fit my lowering springs but didn't have the right size tool for job.
does anyone know what size the bolt is that holds the top of the spring on?

oh i thought you meant the top mount bolt, not the retaining nut. from the top of my head i'm not sure, not one of the things i readily remember hahaha. renaults usually use a 21 / 22 / 24 for the retaining nut though

Have you already got the strut out?

It's a 22mm socket iirc but you'll need a Swan necked spanner to get to it iirc.

Either that or I've confused what you're after, I've not had a coffee yet
