My 1976 VW Beetle was refused at their carlisle depot. Had just had £2000 spent on paintwork and new parts. Thought i'd pop in for a quote, (my dad got a good offer on his land rover). They said it was a 'specialty' vehicle and cannot offer me anything because they could not value the 880w Alpine sound system that was fitted. When i asked if they could value the car alone, they told me to go elsewhere.
