Tunepoint problem

My GT has a tunepoint installed and I have my iPod plugged into it, it's been faultless... til recently.
When my iPod is playing it will randomly pause and start playing again after a few seconds OR cut out, display CD CHECK and NO CD before changing over to the radio, but then if I reselect 6 CD for the tunepoint it will start running again fine until it cuts out again after a few minutes. Any ideas? Cheers

Have you updated your iPod software or have Renault updated anything on your radio?

I had the same problem with my 'old' Twingo as well.. Happened just randomly at my car.. Only thing what helps (at that specific moment) was to turn the engine (and the rest) off and wait for a minute.. After restarting the engine the problem was (mostly of the times) solved..
