Twingo GT Gearbox

Hi guys,

Does anyone know whether the gearbox for the twingo gt is shared with its Renault cousins?

I'm aware that it's based off a Clio 2 chassis but don't know if any parts are similar.

the reason I'm asking is that mine's on its way out, and rather than buy a brand new one perhaps its easier to get one from another Renault.

Any help would be great cheers!

It's been looked into alot and no one can find a direct replacement from another model as of yet

You will be better to have it reconditioned although you can upgrade the internals for higher or lower ratios, new shafts etc. Aslong as the bellhousing etc remains the same?

Maybe try to get a hold of the Twingo GT dCI gearbox?
