Hi,

Im doing an oil and filter change on my Twingo for the first time
Im just wondering, do I need to drain every last drop of oil from the Engine, Turbo, and do a engine flush?

Cheers,
Leox5000

[*]jack car up
[*]drivers side wheel off
[*]remove sump plug on the bottom of the engine, let all the oil drain out and allow it 5 minutes to drip the excess out (no you don't need to remove every last drop but the more removed the better!)
[*]refit sump plug
[*]pull back arch liner to access oil filter, remove it with an oil filter removal tool (or stab a screwdriver through it and twist it off if you don't have one lol) have a few rags ready to catch the excess oil that will leak out when you remove the filter
[*]put a wee film of oil round the seal on the new oil filter with your finger and refit it.
[*]fill engine back up with oil

because you have changed the oil filter then the oil pressure light will stay on for about 5 seconds when the engine is started as it fills up with oil, don't rev the car for the first 5-10 seconds to allow it to build up oil pressure
